Black line and bio-mech patterns are my go to, influenced from an early age by Aztec, Egyptian and Mayan art, with a penchant for making up alien hieroglyphs

John Murray is an artist based out of Lightning Ridge in outback NSW where he has had a gallery for 30 years. He paints outback landscapes and quirky characters both as studio works and large scale public art. John Murray’s quintessential emu’s can be found in several Melbourne laneways as well as rural townships of Lightning Ridge, Bourke, Brewarrina, Dubbo, Eumundi, Hebel and Walgett. He has painted water towers in Coonamble NSW and Bourke NSW. He is known in the street art world as Mort Murray and his Emu characters around Melbourne are distinctive and well loved.

"MCA of Evil Design is an artist based in Boston (USA) that likes to focus on character design (most well known character is the Evil Ape), toy design (over 75 have been produced) as well as drawing stickers (tries to do at least one postal every day), but pretty much is down for any type of fun projects (ya got any?). It's true that Evil Design was officially started after a drawing of Paul Reubens as the Devil was done in 1991, but inspiration for his characters & designs come from all over the place including such things as that little old guy that was Benny Hill's side-kick, Mr.T pitying fools, Dolemite, Kareem Abdul Jabar in the movie Airplane, Left Turn Clyde, Tura Satana, Big Lizard in My Backyard, Edith Massey, Mushmouth, Lux Interior, EYE, Female Trouble, that 'Where's the Beef?' lady, Raging Bull, Jeff Spicoli, Chris Farley, ODB, Bruce Lee, Froggy from The Little Rascals, Hot Buttered Soul & the 98 year old refrigerator.

Psychedelic Dennis Gabbana started with Graffiti in the early 90´s. Doing nothing but good he finished his multimedia design degree in 2008. Since then he is creating a lot of trippy art and weird stuff for wicked musicians, international soccer teams, big lifestyle brands, and his own label: Monkeejuice.

"7th Pencil is a street artist from rural England her style is a combination of graphic images, patterns, often bright colours and many layers. Attention grabbing and vivid.

Her work is the distillation and interpretation of a lifetime exposure to the contemporary media culture. The liberty and freedom, often referenced in her work, is an expression of a desire for release from the stranglehold of social media and social morays. Oppression, and constraint are the metaphors of imprisonment of the personal limitations imposed by the failures of mental health symptomatic of the social media age.

Fascinated with the spray cans left over from huge artworks she makes physical and digital explorations using these usually discarded crushed items as symbols called AeroSouls. Representing freedom and liberation of someone oppressed, stereotyped and discarded.

Stampz 37

Melbourne born and bred stencil artist, Stampz, caught the eye of the public when he was 16 years old. Distorting well known Disney and pop culture images into political statements, his work encourages conversation of current issues on an international scale. Stampz works with street murals, stickers, Installations and wheat pasting. 8 years later Stampz is keeping in the public eye, collaborating with other Melbourne based artists and pushing towards a full body of work for a future solo exhibition.

I am a graffiti writer, fashion designer, seamstress, teacher and cultural producer. I own a graffiti shop, offer workshops for women and vulnerable people, teach fashion for women in jail and I'm obsessed with stickers since I was a child. I trade stickers globally since 2017 and I am the creator of Festival de Colantes, an international sticker and pasteup festival that's on the second edition this year.

Raised in the hard streets of Far Rockaway Queens NY. Daniel Larios also known as the Cardiartist was diagnosed with congenital heart defect at 4 years old. He chose to create a logo that represents how he got through his painful journey as a heart patient. Millions of heart patients around the world can empathize as they have endured the same anxiety pre surgery, the painful recovery process post surgery, and the life-changing scars that are left inside and out.

This brand was created during a bleak, frail, low point in his life when he was told he had a 50/50 chance of surviving. He was determined to use the second chance God gave him and create something that would help millions of hearts unite.

BRAINFART

The perfect symbiosis between crazy and urbanart: BRAINFART.
Brainfart is a streetart collective from Zurich (Switzerland). Consisting of the members: André Bex, Facundo and Nahuel Morales.

The birthplace in 2011 was on a warm summer evening at the lower Letten in Zurich. Bex and Nahuel, just wanted to draw and put our creations on paper. Our goal was to show the world from a simpler, funnier and more colorful side. Our perseverance over the years has paid off, because we were allowed to bring our urban art to the masses at various events like Propart, Fantasy Basel, Streetart Festival Chur and many more.

But you can find us not only at exhibitions, but also as a livepainting act, organize urban art workshops in our studio and already some commissioned works also went over the counter. Brainfart is not only our name, it is also our credo. The best ideas remain standing and survive the high-noon.
