Artwork/Artist Description: Soft cotton flower still life

Xiang (Shee-ang) Li, is a Chinese-Australian artist and professional art therapist. Her artwork strongly focuses on the connection between nature and mental well-being, finding identity, and her experience as a first-generation immigrant. Xiang expresses herself through watercolour paintings. She also creates with other painting mediums, installations, and found objects. 

Xiang is a recipient of The City of Melbourne Annual Art Grant, the Winner of the Wyndham Art Prize 2021 Local Emerging Artist, the SBS Landscape Prize 2021 finalist and the finalist of municipal art grants across Australia.
