Artwork Description: I need some space (part 1) is inspired by the moments of change in life, good or bad. I wanted to create a level of grit and grime but also make it feel like a serene and peaceful place, using scratches and scribbles to tell a story and almost make it feel real and surreal at the same time.

The whole scene is littered with subtle storytelling pieces that allow the viewer to decide what happened before and what will happen after.

I use my design and art direction skills to blend the ordinary with the strange, fuelled by a love for melancholy and influenced by the weird and wonderful art styles of the late 80s and early 90s kids' cartoons.

I create a visual narrative using digital media featuring fantastical elements against everyday scenes. My process spans from pen and paper to digital illustration, 3D modelling, and tangible 3D printing. This multidimensional approach breathes life into my creations, allowing diverse perspectives.
