Artwork Description: Once upon a time between the worlds of the superhero’s lived a girl… part Astro(girl), part magical fantasy character with all the pastel pop dreamy feels.
My current practise involves digital illustrations, and small sculptures which are Art Toys made from apoxy sculpt. My work is inspired by pop culture, gaming, fantasy and sci fi genres, and my love of ‘creepy cute’. I’m intrigued by juxtapositions between divergent elements, and the human condition. I describe my illustration work as soft cartoon semi realism, a pinch of surrealism, with a rainbow colour palette.
